AI Transparency Notice

Last Updated: June 10, 2026 • Effective Date: June 10, 2026

ABOVO.JOBS Inc. ("ABOVO") believes Users should understand how automated technologies are used on the ABOVO platform (the "Service"). This Notice explains the automated features of the Service, what they do, what they do not do, and your options.

1. Automated Technologies We Use

1.1 The ABOVO Matching Engine

The Matching Engine is ABOVO's proprietary ranking technology. When a Job Seeker uses the Service, the Matching Engine determines the order in which Listings appear in the Job Seeker's discovery feed. It uses signals such as the Job Seeker's declared preferences (e.g., desired job type and location), prior in-app behavior (e.g., which Listings the Job Seeker swiped right or left, and how the Job Seeker responded to in-app prompts), and Listing attributes.

The Matching Engine is a ranking and discovery tool. It does not advance, reject, score, screen, or otherwise make a hiring-related decision about any Job Seeker. All decisions to advance, message, offer, hire, or decline any Job Seeker are made by Employers through their own manual review and in-app interaction. The Matching Engine runs on ABOVO's own servers and does not transmit Job Seeker personal data to any third-party artificial-intelligence service.

1.2 AI-Generated Listing Drafts (Employer Feature)

When an Employer creates a Listing, ABOVO offers a tool that drafts Listing copy from a short free-text description provided by the Employer and the Employer-specified work location. This tool uses a third-party large-language-model service (currently provided by Google through its Gemini API). The Employer reviews the generated draft and is responsible for the final published Listing.

This feature processes only the Employer's own free-text input and the work location they enter. ABOVO does not transmit any user (Job Seeker) personal data — including names, email addresses, profile photographs, video introductions, in-app responses, location, or any other identifier — to this or any other third-party AI service, at any time, for any purpose.

1.3 Inactivity-Based Auto-Decline

The Service includes an automated mechanism that declines an Application based on Employer inactivity. There are two trigger points:

Stage 1 — No engagement. If the Employer does not initiate an in-app message exchange, voice call, video call, or interview with the Job Seeker within thirty (30) calendar days following submission of the Application, the Application is automatically declined.

Stage 2 — No outcome after engagement. If, following the first such engagement, the Employer does not extend an Offer or affirmatively decline the Application within thirty (30) calendar days, the Application is automatically declined.

Ten (10) calendar days before either auto-decline event, ABOVO sends a reminder notice to the Employer and an advance notice to the Job Seeker. A Job Seeker whose Application is auto-declined is notified through the Service and informed that the decline is due to Employer inactivity rather than a substantive evaluation of the Job Seeker's qualifications.

2. Nature of the Auto-Decline Mechanism

The auto-decline mechanism described in Section 1.3 operates on a deterministic, time-based rule. It does not employ machine learning, statistical modeling, or AI-derived scoring. It does not evaluate, score, classify, or rank Job Seekers, and it does not assess any individual Job Seeker's qualifications, characteristics, or fit for any position. Its sole function is to bring a recruiting process to a defined conclusion when the Employer does not engage within the timeframes described.

3. No User Personal Data Sent to AI Services

To be explicit: ABOVO does not send Job Seeker personal data to any third-party artificial-intelligence or machine-learning service, at any time, for any purpose. The Matching Engine runs on ABOVO's own servers. The only AI integration in the ABOVO platform is the Employer-side Listing-drafting tool described in Section 1.2, which processes only the Employer's own input and never receives Job Seeker data.

4. What We Do Not Do

ABOVO does not use the Matching Engine, the AI drafting tool, the auto-decline mechanism, or any other Service feature to substantially assist or replace any hiring, screening, advancement, or other employment decision about any individual Job Seeker. Where applicable law — including New York City Local Law 144 of 2021 (the "NYC AEDT Law") — requires a bias audit, candidate notice, or other compliance with respect to an "automated employment decision tool," ABOVO will comply or will require Employers to comply, as applicable.

5. Information for Employers

You are responsible for assessing whether your own use of the Service, including any tools or processes you use in conjunction with the Service, triggers compliance obligations under the NYC AEDT Law or any similar federal, state, or local law. You should consult your own legal counsel as needed.

6. Information for Job Seekers

Decisions about whether to advance you in a recruiting process — including whether to message you, send you an Offer, hire you, or substantively decline you — are made by the Employer, not by ABOVO's technology. If your Application is auto-declined under Section 1.3, that decline is a consequence of Employer inactivity, not an evaluation of you. If you have questions about how an Employer evaluated you, you may contact that Employer directly through the in-app messaging feature.

7. Updates to This Notice

As our technologies evolve, we will update this Notice accordingly. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document indicates the most recent revision.
